MosquitoNix Equipment Maintenance Program
Routine maintenance that allows your MosquitoNix system to provide trouble free service is typically covered by the terms of your agreement. Getting protection requires a supply of mosquito control that can provide three or four mists of 20-45 seconds every day. The size of your system, the number of nozzles and your level of use are variables that affect the number of refills that you need.
During one of our routine service calls, your MosquitoNix representative can change the duration of mists or their frequency, and we can teach you how to do it as well. The flexibility of your system allows you to control it so that you can have the most effective defense against Houston’s mosquito population. Your maintenance program includes winterization and de-winterization procedures that ensure proper functioning of your system year round. Take a look at this overview of your MosquitoNix service program.
Understanding the MosquitoNix Program
Your system’s pump, motor and control units carry a limited warranty of three years, starting on the date of installation. All other original parts have a lifetime warranty, and labor is included. Our full-service program covers continuous service, seasonal preparations and routine maintenance. The program is fully transferable with the inclusion of applicable fees.
Getting Drum Refills
Your service representative, licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture, delivers refills on an automatic schedule, and we guarantee a price guarantee for one year. Refilling at regular intervals and as required ensures that your property receives proper coverage, and it maintains your equipment in optimal condition as well. With each refill, your representative performs a full diagnostic routine that keeps your system performing at peak efficiency.
Winterizing Your System
Preparing your MosquitoNix system for Houston winters requires maintenance by your service representative. Flushing the system with air prepares it to receive a protective additive. Even though freezing temperatures may not often occur in Houston, protecting your system from extreme cold is included as part of your full-service program. To complete the winterization process, your representative performs maintenance on the pump, motor and suction line.
Reversing the Winterizing Process
Returning your system to efficient service after the winter passes requires your representative to conduct a check of the entire system. Included in your full-service agreement, the de-winterizing process makes sure that your system works properly after a period of inactivity. The full system check includes maintenance of the motor and tubing, and your representative may replace the suction line if necessary. Filling the drum or topping it off as required ensures you of a mosquito prevention system that fully protects your yard.
